And In the Medabots RPG I always use Oceana as one of my primary bots. In that game you have nine slots for male or female tinpets and can assemble around them. In robattles you use upto three medabots as a team. So I would have Metabee lead with a defender like Megaphant or a radar medabot like Dr. Bockchoy or Jorat (I called him Cheesy). And then once I got a mermaid metal I would name it Oceana, by that point I had fought enough to have gathered all the Oceana parts. The tough part is getting the parts you want. After you win a Robattle the game decides at random what part you get. Even with teams of three you only get one part per battle. Most battles are random but some characters have limited fights. Like you only fight Koji or Erika a certain number of times throughout the game. So I save continuously so if I don't get the part I want, or Heaven forbid, lose. I can just reset and robattle again.
And the show was just amazing. I still think it stands the test of time as one of the best americanized animes there is. Thanks to Youtube I have seen the original japanese versions (without subtitles) and can tell the music is better in the american version and they added a lot of machine sounds when the medabots move and even robot filters over the voice actors for the medabots. I'm also glad it was not dubbed by 4kids since they seemed to be lazy when it came to voice acting and music. Trust me, look up medabots on Youtube, a poster named SpaceMedafighterEx has posted all the dubbed episodes in their original order. I don't know why but Fox skipped a bunch leading up to the world tournament then inserted them later.
Sorry I went on for so long, it's just hard to find fellow fans of Medabots who really seem to appriciate it.
